Pre and Post-Course Survey
It can be beneficial to take a snapshot of your knowledge before and after the course. Below is a survey. Rate each question from 1 to 5.
(Where 1 = minimum knowledge and 5 = expert knowledge.)
For each question, imagine that you are talking to an interested party. Your conversation could be your boss, the board or even your grandmother. How comfortable are you with the question? Could you demonstrate your knowledge and to what level?
If you answer all of the questions with a 5, perhaps this is not the right course for you. If you answer a question with a 1 or 2, perhaps by the end, you might reach a 4 or 5. The survey will confirm to you whether or not you need to review topic areas. (Do you remember the Richard Feynman system?)
